The Center for the Study of Corruption uncovers embezzlement scheme involving Putin associate
The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) uncovered that cellist Sergei Roldugin, a friend of Russian President Vladimir Putin, had withdrawn funds from the Russian budget and put them into an offshore company. An employee of Russia’s Anti Corruption Foundation, Georgy Alburov, posted a statement on his Facebook page indicating that property registrations belonging to the son-in-law of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kirill Shamanov, have been illegally deleted from the Registry’s database.

In a phone conversation on April 18th between the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Petro Poroshenko agreed to allow the Ukrainian consul general in Rostov to visit Nadiya Savchenko.
