    Russia used the opportunities available to members of the Moscow Patriarchate for reconnaissance ahead of the annexation of Crimea in 2014, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) claims in an information booklet it published.

  • Ukrainian President signs decree on the termination of the Friendship Treaty with Russia

    The President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, has signed a decree on the termination of the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation, and Partnership with Russia, reports the presidential press service.

  • Russia moves strategic bombers to Venezuela

    Russia has started transferring Tu-160 strategic bombers, which are capable of carrying nuclear weapons, to Venezuela.

    “This will be the seventh “sortie” by Russian strategic aircraft in the last three months – the frequency of flights is increasing, and this is perceived by the US as provocation,” says Mark Schneider, a former Pentagon official.

    Since the introduction of martial law in Ukraine, 900 citizens of Russia were banned from visiting Ukraine, stated Andriy Demchenko, the head of the department of interaction with the media of the State Border Service, UNN reported.

  • Ukrainians detained in Russia will receive $200 monthly

    Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree that pays $200 every month to Ukrainians detained in Russia. The amount of payment will be counted based on triple subsistence level. The payment scheme is named after the Ukrainian dissident, fighter against Russian language in Ukraine Levko Lukyanenko.

    The right to receive such payments will be given to “Ukrainian citizens who are illegally detained by Russia.” 

  • Media: France looking into Russia’s involvement in the organization of ‘Yellow vest’ protests
