The U.S. called Russia's actions in Syria a violation of international law
The resumption of air strikes by Russia and by the regime of Bashar al-Assad, which Russia supports, including at the hospitals in the area of the Syrian city Aleppo, as well as the continuation of the siege of entire residential areas is nothing else but a violation of international law.
This statement was made on November 15 by the Director of the Press Office of the U.S. Department of State, Elizabeth Trudeau.
"We strongly condemn the resumption of air strikes in Syria that are carried out by Russia and the Syrian regime," Trudeau said.
According to recent reports, attacks were carried out that were aimed at five hospitals and one mobile clinic in Syria. "We are asking to pay attention to targets where Russia aims. It strikes at the hospitals and again refuses humanitarian access," Trudeau says.
Earlier it was reported that Su-33 aircraft deployed on the Russian aircraft carrier Admiral Kuznetsov began attacking targets in Syria.
