Russia sends fuel supply tanker to its Syrian flotilla

A large Russian Black Sea tanker, Ivan Bubnov, passed through the Bosphorus Strait on Saturday en route to the Mediterranean Sea, as reported Turkish portals tracking the movement of ships.

Turkish sites believe that the tanker will join the Russian Mediterranean flotilla headed by the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier

According to the latest information of Automatic Identification System the International (AIS), the Russian ships are currently located to the east of Crete.

On Friday a frigate of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, Admiral Greygorovich, carrying Kalibr cruise missiles and towboat Professor Nikolai Muru entered the Mediterranean. They will be a part of the Russian Mediterranean Flotilla.

The flotilla headed by the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier entered the Mediterranean on October 26. It consists of the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier, the Pyotr Velikiy battlecruiser and also anti-submarines ships Severomorsk, Vice Admiral Kuztensov, as well as supply ships.
