Pentagon: 'Russian-speaking' actors were needed to bring NATO military exercises closer to reality
American military exercises in Germany that included the participation of Russian-speaking actors are not preparation for any concrete actions. This was stated by U.S. Army Captain Chris Bradley, an official representative of the Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) for the training of military personnel in Germany, reported RIA Novosti news agency.
"In our Center, we try to train servicemen in the most realistic ways, to ensure that they can operate in many different situations," he said.
Bradley noted that "these scenarios are not preparation for anything, but they are aimed at ensuring that U.S. soldiers and allies are ready to solve the full range of problems that they may face in the world."
According to him, "the presence of people speaking different languages, as well as various allies participating in the exercises, ensures the complexity of the scenarios."
Earlier, the German media reported that German authorities are looking for Russian-speaking actors for military exercises in Germany. The daily remuneration is between 88 to 120 euros; the exercises will be held within two weeks.
