Media: Syria repels Israeli missile strike

Syrian air defense systems repelled a missile strike at the T4 airbase in the province of Homs, reported news agency SANA, citing a source in the military.
The missile strike came from Israel. According to the agency’s source, Syrian air defense managed to shoot down an Israeli military aircraft which attacked the air base.
“Air defense systems repelled Israel's attack, taking out a number of missiles and shooting down one of the attacking aircraft, forcing the others to leave the airspace,” the report said.

The Israeli military did not comment on the information about their possible involvement in the attack.
On the night of May 10, Israeli Defense Forces attacked dozens of military targets belonging to Iran’s al-Quds Force in Syria. This was in response to shelling of their positions on the Golan Heights.
