Ukrainian activist: Armed Forces of Ukraine took control of several villages at the Svitlodarsk salient
Ukrainian military took control of several villages and captured strategic heights at the Svitlodarsk salient in the Donbas, as reported on Facebook by Ukrainian activist Yuriy Mysyagin.
"As a result of sudden advancement by several units of the 54th Brigade and the 24th Aidar Battalion, several villages were freed, residents of which met our infantry as liberators, and several strategic heights were also taken under our control," Mysyagin writes.
According to Mysyagin, Ukrainian military acquired new positions a few square kilometers in size, where the foothold has been established successfully already.
