One Ukrainian soldier killed and ten wounded in the Donbas

Over the last 24 hours, one Ukrainian soldier was killed and ten were wounded as a result of the fighting in the Donbas, Interfax-Ukraine reported, citing the Speaker of the Ukrainian Presidential Administration on issues in the conflict area, Andrei Lysenko.

According to him, the number of attacks by pro-Russian separatists has increased dramatically, as the Ukrainian side recorded a total of 94 attacks on Sunday, the highest since mid-April.

Lysenko explained that the attacks occurred in different areas throughout the Donbas, including in Svetlodarsk, Horlivka, Yasynuvata, and the outskirts of Donetsk.

According to the Defense Ministry of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic, four houses were damaged in the villages of Zaichenko and Sahanka, and a gas pipeline and power line were damaged near Novoazovsk.

The OSCE has noted a sharp increase in ceasefire violations in the Donbas over the last several months.
