Ukrainian Intelligence: Russian troops in the Donbas have been brought to full combat readiness

Russian military units have been brought to full combat readiness in the Donbas, as reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on its Facebook page.

According to intelligence reports, over the past days the enemy brought numerous units into high readiness, including three separate motorized rifle brigades, nine separate assault infantry marine regiments, a rocket artillery battalion of 100 separate motorized rifle brigades, 11 separate motorized rifle regiments, and the First Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

In addition, the Commission of the Russian Armed Forces, headed by the Chief of Staff for the Territorial Centre of the Southern Border District, arrived in the area to inspect the integration between the units of the First and Second Army Corps within the occupied territories of eastern Ukraine.

Ukrainian intelligence has also recorded the personnel rotation of the separatist forces and the strengthening of the front-line units within the Novoaidar and Donetsk areas. There was a planned personnel rotation of the front-line divisions of a separate infantry battalion of 100 separate motorized rifle brigade and the First Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
