Head of DPR Zakharchenko killed in Donetsk
The leader of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has been killed in Donetsk.
According to the media reports, Zakharchenko was killed by an explosion during his visit to the restaurant Separ in the center of Donetsk.
The information about Zakharchenko's death has been confirmed by Russian Interfax news agency.
According to Interfax, the head of the DPR Ministry of Finance, Alexander Timofeev, was also wounded in the explosion.
The death of the DPR leader was confirmed by the "deputy" of the so-called People's Council Vladislav Berdichevsky and the office of Zakharchenko. According to RIA Novosti, Alexander Zakharchenko died of a wound in the head.
