Turkish media: Russian aircraft bombed hospital in Aleppo

At least 30 people were killed and 62 wounded on April 27th after a Russian military plane fired at a field hospital in the Syrian province of Aleppo. Anadolu reported that the incident was announced by Ibrahim Hadzh Ibrahim, the city’s civil defense representative.

"Dozens were killed and wounded as a result of the attack on the hospital, including medical personnel, women and children,” Ibrahim said. He voiced his fears that the death toll would increase.

According to the Syrian official, on Tuesday, April 26th, at least 18 people were killed and more than ten were wounded by Russian air strikes in the northern province of Aleppo in Syria. Russia began its military intervention in Syria in September of last year.

According to information provided by Anadolu, more than 361,000 people have been killed in Syria since the beginning of the conflict in 2011.

As early as April 24th, it was reported that 26 people had died from military operations around Aleppo.
