Vilnius: Lithuania is interested in deepening cooperation with Ukrainian military educational institutions
Lithuania is interested in enhancing cooperation with the military educational institutions of Ukraine, as stated by the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, Vitalijus Vaikšnoras, in a meeting with the Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Stepan Poltorak, the web-portal of the Ukrainian government reports.
As noted, during the meeting enhancing cooperation and the exchange of experiences between the two countries' governmental universities were discussed.
"We are interested in deepening cooperation between the military educational institutions, as it is very important that when there is teamwork many issues between our military personnel are resolved at that level. It does work. We will always have a strategic restraint and will help Ukraine," Vaikšnoras stated.
In turn, Poltorak noted that the problems that appear in military units are being laid during studies at educational institutions.
"The foundation of knowledge, personal qualities of individuals, decent teaching staff, and appropriate educational and material facilities are the key to success in the educational process," he stressed.
It was previously reported that Lithuania plans to transfer weapons worth almost 2 million euros to Ukraine.
