Palestinian President invites Putin to Bethlehem for Christmas
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, in an interview with Kommersant, said that he hopes that Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Bethlehem for the Christmas holidays.
"We have sent an invitation to Vladimir Putin to visit us soon, particularly, Bethlehem during the Christmas holidays. We will be delighted if he accepts our invitation. It will be a great honor for us," said Abbas.
There have been no official announcements about Putin's visit to Palestine. His visit to Israel is scheduled for mid-January.
