Ukrainian Intelligence reported that more Russian artillery and tanks arrived in the Donbas

More military equipment and personnel have arrived in the Donbas from Russia. This was reported by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

According to the report, Russia continues to supply fuel and motor oil to the occupied territory. “We have noted that trains carrying up to 100 personnel, as well as military equipment, have arrived at the Khartsyzk settlement. The equipment consists of three tanks, eight infantry fighting vehicles, two 122-mm MLRS Grads and six trucks. The equipment and personnel were then transported to Donetsk. It was confirmed that the personnel included Chechen soldiers of the separate motorized rifle brigade of the 1st AC of the Russian Armed Forces,” the statement said.

The Intelligence also reported additional losses of the Russian Armed Forces in the Donbas. On the 7th of May, three bodies were transported to the morgue of the hospital in Makiivka. Six wounded soldiers of the 1st separate special purpose battalion of the 1st AC of the Russian Armed Forces were admitted for treatment. The battalion commander, Major Sukuev, arrived in eastern Ukraine in March 2015. He was previously the commander of the 33rd separate reconnaissance battalion of separate motorized rifle brigade of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of Russia.

The report also stated that on the 8th of May, one Russian soldier died as result of an explosion that occurred on a Russian minefield. Two other Russian soldiers were injured on the same day.

On the 9th of May, the Speaker of the Ukrainian Presidential Administration on Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) issues, Olexandr Motuzyanik, had said that two members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were killed and four were wounded.
