The UN International Court of Justice will begin hearings on Ukraine’s lawsuit against Russia in March

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Pavlo Klimkin, stated on Inter TV on the evening of January 29 that the hearings on Ukraine’s lawsuit against Russia will begin in March 2017 at the UN International Court of Justice in The Hague.

“The hearings on our lawsuit that we filed against Russia due to its consistent violations of the International Convention for the suppression of the financing of terrorism and Convention for elimination of racial discrimination are scheduled to begin in March at the UN International Court of Justice,” Klimkin said.

On the 16th of January, Ukraine filed a lawsuit against Russia with the UN International Court of Justice for its aggression against Ukraine and discrimination in the occupied territories.
