The Military Exercises “Brave Band” Started in Poland

Soldiers from Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland are involved in military exercises currently taking place in Lublin, Poland.

These “Brave Band” military exercises involves the participation of the national team of military servicemen from Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland.  This is according to the Press Service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.

“The combat training will last two weeks.  During this period, approximately 100 officers from Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland will acquire military skills during peacekeeping operations within these three countries,” the service stated.

The message also noted that “Brave Band” will be conducted in three phases.  The participants will be trained to perform tasks in a multicultural environment, be involved in rapid exchange of information between the sections of the brigade headquarters, and to reasonably distribute the tasks between the Ukrainian, Lithuanian and Polish battalions.

The Ministers of Defense of Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland have also launched a new joint military brigade.  There are already 18 Ukrainians in the army services of the Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian brigade.
