Shortages reminiscent of USSR era hit separatists areas of Eastern Ukraine

It's back to the times of the USSR in the Ukrainian territories held by the pro-Russian separatists.
Thera are shortages of gas at most of the gas stations.
"Gas is only available one day a week at one gas station." - the local residents are joking.
"It's like back in the 80s again; the lines were as long".
The users of the social networks living in the areas are actively sharing information advising each other where it is still possible to fuel the car.
The reasons for such shortages remain unknown.
The Parallel gas stations, the chain owned by the Ukrainian oligarch, Rinat Ahmetov, seem to be the only ones where it is still possible to get fuel.
