Poroshenko to visit Washington next week
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko announced that he will visit Washington D.C. next week.
"In the near future, next week, I will visit Washington, where we will continue to expand our areas of cooperation, including the establishment of a new police force, the new prosecutor's offices, [and] the new cooperation in law enforcement departments,", Poroshenko said on Wednesday in Kharkov.
According to Interfax-Ukraine, the Ukrainian President will participate in the International Nuclear Security Summit and will hold several bilateral meetings with US officials while in Washington. His visit is expected to take place from March 30th to April 3rd.
