Kyiv: Russians will not be allowed to own land in Ukraine

The Ukrainian Minister of Economic Development, Trade, and Agriculture, Timofey Milovanov said that Ukrainian government will seize the agricultural land if Russians would acquire it during the agricultural sector reform, which starts in Ukraine next year.

The Minister explained that the owners of the land with Russian citizenship would be identified with the help of large-scale "monitoring." He also recalled that Kyiv accuses Russia of seizing part of its territories and that the countries of the world have imposed economic sanctions in response to these actions, so the confiscation will be justified.

Russia has not yet responded to this statement.
