First stage of NATO Rapid Trident-2017 exercises begins in Ukraine
The first phase of the international military exercises, Rapid Trident 2017, began at the 7th Petro Franko Tactical Aviation Brigade’s aviation field, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported.
It was noted that as part of the Ukrainian-American command staff exercises, military from US air bases arrived in Ukraine to teach Ukrainian pilots how to interact with other types of forces in different conditions.
American specialists will hold a series of theoretical and practical exercises in medical training, in particular, on aeromedical evacuation and transportation, as well as the airdrop of cargo and personnel.
Earlier it was reported that the Moldovan military arrived in Ukraine to participate in the Rapid Trident 2017 in the Lviv region, despite the ban imposed by President Igor Dodon.
