Armed persons led by interior minister Kornet arrest prosecutors in separatist LPR
Divisions of the local LPR (Luhansk People’s Republic) Interior Ministry and the DPR’s (Donetsk People’s Republic) Special Forces Vityaz stormed the LPR Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO).
According to Novaya Gazeta, Vitaly Podobry and LPR military prosecutor Sergey Razno were detained, the rest were dismissed. PGO investigator Leonid Tkachenko was arrested the day before.

Ukrainian military took control of several villages and captured strategic heights at the Svitlodarsk salient in the Donbas, as reported on Facebook by Ukrainian activist Yuriy Mysyagin.

Media: Russia increased the export of coal from the separatist-held territories of the Donbas
In October 2017, about 236,000 tons of coal were exported from the separatist-controlled areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and sent from Russia to Europe, which is about 13.5% or 28,000 tons more than in September of this year (about 208,000 tons), as reported by LIGA.net, citing data from RZD Holdings (Russian Railways) and the FCS (Russian Federal Customs Service).
