    The Russian military has opened a center in Sevastopol where they will teach schoolchildren how to handle weapons, reports news website Krym.Realii.

    The counterintelligence department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has uncovered a network of Russian intelligence agents and arrested its leader, announced Volodymyr Nestyuk, head of the counterintelligence department, on Thursday December 27.

  • Governor of Sevastopol says he is against integration with the Crimea

    While responding to journalists’ questions whether the Crimea and Sevastopol can be integrated, the Russia appointed Governor of Sevastopol, Dmitry Ovsyannikov said that the question of integration with the Crimea is not “relevant” at the moment and that he is “against it”, as reported by TASS news agency.

  • Russia transferred more than a dozen fighter jets to annexed Crimea 

    Russia has sent over a dozen Su-27 and Su-30 fighter jets to annexed Crimea to boost its air force on the peninsula, according to a witness, Reuters reported. 

    "More than a dozen SU-27 and SU-30 fighter jets which Russia is deploying to boost its air force, amid heightened tensions with Ukraine, arrived in the Crimea on Saturday,” the statement read. Reuters’s witness claimed to have seen the jets land at Belbek air base in the Crimea.

  • Russia to move additional fighter jets to Crimea

    Interfax reports that the Su-27SM and Su-30M2 fighters will return to the Crimean airfield Belbek after the reconstruction of the airfield is complete.
