Ukrainian military command: Ukrainian Armed Forces improved tactical positions in the Luhansk Region
Separate divisions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Luhansk improved their tactical positions in order to improve conditions for observing the enemy and conducting defensive fire in response to shelling from the Russian forces, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine strictly adhere to the Minsk Agreements, in accordance with which they can be strengthened or re-equipped, and also redeployed within the territories defined by these agreements,” the statement added.
Earlier, military volunteer Yuriy Mysyagin posted on Facebook that the Ukrainian military carried out an operation in the Luhansk region, took control of several strategic areas, and liberated a number of villages from the militants.
Later, the headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine issued a report from the Ukrainian side of the JCCC (the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire and the stabilization of the situation along the line of contact in Donbas) which refuted information that Hladosove at the Svitlodarsk Salient was occupied by the Ukrainian military.
“The LPR and the DPR said that on the night of November 21, a division of the Ukrainian Armed Forces occupied the village Hladosove, which is in the “gray” zone near Horlivka. The Ukrainian side of the JCCC states that such statements do not reflect the truth of the situation. The units of the Armed Forces have not advanced recently,” it said.
