Ukrainian intelligence: DPR and LPR armies have increased their combat readiness
The representative for the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Vadim Skibitsky stated that military units of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics have been put in a high readiness state.
“Currently, all units of the 1st and 2nd Army Corps have increased the level of their combat readiness” reports 112 Ukraine, quoting Skibitsky.
The representative for the Main Intelligence Directorate also stated that the Russian Armed Forces moved into the Rostov region, on the border with the Donbas, 250 T-62 tanks from the eastern regions of the country.
Earlier, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov stated that Russia is preparing for an invasion into Ukraine after the detention of Ukrainian warships in the Kerch Strait.
