Kremlin announces visit of USA’s parliamentary delegation to Russia
The parliamentary delegation of the USA will visit Russia from June 30 to July 5, reported the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, Interfax reported.
“In the coming days, the American parliamentary delegation is going to visit Russia. It is expected to include representatives of both Houses of Congress: The Senate and the House of Representatives. The group is chaired by Senator Richard Shelby,” Zakharova said.
According to her, the itinerary includes visits to Saint Petersburg and Moscow, including the meeting on July 3 in the Federation Council and the State Duma, and visits to other Russian officials. “We will be happy to see and host Americans in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Petersburg,” she added.
