Poland agreed to hold Presidential Consultation Committee with Ukraine
Chief of the Cabinet of the President of Poland, Krzysztof Szczerski, agreed to Ukraine’s proposal to hold a meeting of the Consultative Committee of the President of Poland and Ukraine in the near future, as reported by Polskie Radio.
It was noted that Poland is ready to accept the Ukrainian delegation "to clarify the state of Polish-Ukrainian relations." According to the presidential office, it will be "one more opportunity, after visits to Ukraine by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Piotr Gliński and Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski, to present to Ukraine their expectations on the most important issues of Polish-Ukrainian relations."
"President Duda also hopes that President Petro Poroshenko will personally take steps in the context of the current state of bilateral relations," Warsaw noted.
Earlier Poroshenko invited Poland to discuss the disputed issues and initiated the meeting with the Consultative Committee of Presidents.
