So-called DPR creates special police battalion to protect separatist leaders
The so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) announced the establishment of Bastion, a special police regiment, to provide security for the leaders of the self-proclaimed republic and particularly important objects, separatist online resources report.
The special unit will guard objects of important infrastructure of the DPR; be responsible for the security of valuable, important and dangerous goods such as money during transit; and ensure the personal security of the leaders of the self-proclaimed DPR.
It was reported that the Bastion special police battalion will be based in Donetsk.
