Slovakian Foreign Ministery: We will find a way to continue Ukraine's EU integration

According to the Slovakian Foreign Ministry, the European Union will find a solution that will allow the continued European integration of Ukraine. This statement came in response to the results of the Advisory Referendum on the Association Agreement EU-Ukraine past in the Netherlands.

"We are talking about the internal decision-making process of one of the member countries of the EU, which must be respected. It all depends on how the government of the Netherlands will respond to the results of this referendum," the Slovakian Foreign Ministry stated.

"We believe that the EU can find a solution that will continue the process of an approximation of Ukraine to the EU. The government of the Slovak Republic is ready to seek and assist in the adoption of common decisions in discussions with all partners."

According to the preliminary results of the referendum in the Netherlands, 61.1 % of the Dutch who took part in the referendum voted against the ratification of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.
