NATO Liaison Officer: NATO will increase its practical assistance to Ukraine

At the summit in Warsaw, NATO will decide to increase its practical assistance to Ukraine, according to the NATO Liaison Officer in Ukraine, Alexander Vinnikov, Evropeyskaya Pravda reported.

“We expect… a joint political declaration, which confirms the unwavering support of NATO towards Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Vinnikov said during an interview with Segodnya.ua.

“The adoption of the comprehensive support package will increase our practical assistance to Ukraine. It will accelerate the existing efforts and bring new elements into a single support package that will cover all areas of cooperation between NATO and Ukraine,” the NATO Liaison Officer explained.

The NATO Summit will be held in Warsaw in July, and will include a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission.

"This meeting will provide an opportunity… to discuss our work together in Ukraine’s reforms in the sphere of security and defense," Vinnikov added.
