Former Party of Regions MP: Capture of administrative buildings in Luhansk was organized by Yefremov
Ex-deputy of the Party of Regions said that everything was recorded on video and the evidence has already been passed to the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).
A former MP from the Party of Regions, Volodymyr Landik, stated on the air of Radio Liberty’s Donbas.Realii program that the capture of the Luhansk Regional State Administration building and the regional branch of the SSU in March 2014 was organized by the former leader of the Party of Regions of the Verkhovna Rada, Alexandr Yefremov.
Landik said that Yefremov commanded the then chairman of the Luhansk Regional Council, Valery Golenko, to organize buses for young people from Russia to capture the buildings; the youth were brought from Melovoye and Krasnaya Talovka.
The former MP emphasized that there is a video that shows these events. "We filmed everything. We filmed where they came from, who handed them the batons, how they dispersed and beat people, how they entered the administration, and how they went back to Russia in the same buses in the evening," Landik said. He noted that all the evidence has already been passed to the SSU.
The defense team for the former Verkhovna Rada Deputy, Alexandr Yefremov, sent an application to the Prosecutor General, asking to prosecute the former People's Deputy, Volodymyr Landik.
