Zelensky on meeting with Trump: 'We are ready for anything'
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in a comment to the Hromadske TV channel, described the expectations from the forthcoming meeting with US President Donald Trump.
"Ukraine is an independent country. We're ready for anything. We expect support, but we do not need help, because Ukraine is already a strong country. I want the US always to support Ukraine in the fight against the aggression and war. I think that we already have support on this issue, and everything goes in the right direction. I think that we will have an amicable meeting," said Ukrainian President.
Zelensky added that before the meeting with Trump, he has ten more meetings with leaders of other countries.
The meeting of Trump and Zelensky is scheduled for September 25, 2019. It will be the first meeting of Ukrainian and American presidents.
