Ukrainian Foreign Minister: EU will introduce new sanctions on Russia in February 2018
In February 2018, new international sanctions will be imposed against Russia, including Russian businessmen, as stated by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Pavlo Klimkin, on Friday, December 15, on Pryamoi TV show.
"Yesterday, the European Union extended sanctions, and a new portion of sanctions will be introduced in February. They are very serious because they concern, among other things, the assets of Russian oligarchs. We are now discussing how to create such pressure," the Minister said.
At the same time, Klimkin did not specify by whom the sanctions will be imposed or the basis for his information.
In September of this year, the EU extended sanctions against Russia until March 15, 2018.
