• Latvia detects two Russian military planes near its borders

    The National Armed Forces (NAF) of Latvia said on Twitter that it had detected two Russian military transport aircraft flying close to Latvian borders. The incident reportedly happened on September 8, close to the territorial waters of Latvia. The ministry said they were An-12 and An-26 military transport planes but did not reveal exactly where the planes were encountered.
