Russia continues to restrict the import of Belarusian products

Rosselkhoznadzor, Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision, imposes temporary restrictions on the import of products of three Belarusian enterprises from May 10, according to the press service of the agency.

The measure is related to the violation of veterinary and sanitary requirements and norms of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

Production of the Brest meat-packing plant is forbidden because of repeated detection of benzylpenicillin in sausage products. Also, under the restrictions were subjected products the production workshops of the enterprise "Moloko" due to re-identification of yeast in cheese; cheese production of "Milkavita" because of new identification of an exceedance of the E. Coli bacteria. 

Enhanced laboratory control is introduced for to the products of manufacturers such as: "Babushkina Krynka," Babruysk meat plant, "Zdravushka-milk" and others.

On May 7, the Rosselkhoznadzor lifted the ban on the import of milk in bulk from Belarus to Russia, which was introduced in June last year. There are still restrictions on the import of products from 29 Belarusian enterprises.

Since May 8, the supply of dairy products from 37 companies of Belarus is restricted. The import of the following products is restricted: dairy products in bulk and dry products with the exception of demineralized milk whey with a degree of demineralization of 90% from the production branch of "Savushkin product" in Pinsk, dairy products in bulk and dry products of "Orsha dairy plant" and "Nesvizh baby food plant", dry dairy products of "Milk Hills".
