Crimean authorities: More than 15,000 residents of Crimea prohibited from travelling abroad due to ‘debt obligations’
More than 15,000 citizens of the Crimea cannot travel abroad "because of debt obligations," according to the Crimean News citing the so-called Acting Chief Bailiff of the Crimea, Igor Rudakov.
According to him, citizens who are already the subject of court decisions are restricted from travelling abroad.
"This applies to those who are already subject to a court decision, where the amount of debt exceeds 10,000 rubles ($168 USD). At the moment I cannot give an exact number of citizens impacted, but more than 15,000 debtors have had their right to travel abroad restricted," Rudakov said.
