Swedish reconnaissance jet approached Russian flotilla in the Atlantic

A Swedish reconnaissance jet approached the Russian flotilla headed by the flagship of Russian Navy Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft cruiser. This was reported by the web sites tracking the aircraft flights data.

At the moment the Russian ships are sailing along the western shores of Norway. The aircraft of the Swedish Air Force Gulfstream 4 with the call sign SVF623 took off from Sweden and while flying along the coast of Norway approached the Atlantic where the Russian ships are taking part in a three day exercises.

According to the Russian Interfax news agency, this Swedish aircraft is often used to carry out reconnaissance missions along the Russian Baltic borders.
