Nemtsov's report presented at PACE session

Nemtsov’s colleagues, Ilya Yashin and Olga Shorina, have finished his report.

At a recent Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) session, a report entitled "Putin.War" was presented. The report provides information which essentially proves the participation of Russian troops in the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine as announced by an MP from the Permanent Delegation of the Verkhovna Rada (the Ukrainian Parliament) to PACE, Georgiy Logvynsky, on his Facebook page.

According to him, Nemtsov’s report was completed by his colleagues, Ilya Yashin and Olga Shorina. The report, "Putin.War", which was largely written by Boris Nemtsov, was submitted to PACE. The report indicates a political motivation behind the murder of the Russian politician and opposition leader as previously voiced by the Chairman of the European Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, Elmar Brok, in an interview with the German newspaper Westfalen-Blatt," Logvynsky wrote.

The MP also added that the authors of the report have "collected and organized irrefutable evidence of the presence of the Russian Armed Forces within the territory of Ukraine as well as their involvement with groups of mercenaries who were recruited, financed and directed to participate in hostilities in Ukraine."

As it was previously reported, the Russian Court refused to consider Nemtsov's murder as a political one.
