Media: remains of other people found during exhumation of the coffins of Polish President Lech Kaczynski and stewardess

During the exhumation of the coffin of the youngest victim of the Smolensk plane crash, 23-year-old Natalia Januszko, forensic experts found parts of the bodies of five other people, as repored by Polish tabloid Super Express.

"During the exhumation of the coffin of stewardess Natalia Januszko, fragments of bodies of five other people were found," noted the newspaper.

The investigator in the case said that, specifically, the limbs, fragments of the palm and internal organs of other people were found in the coffin.

At the same time, the Polish edition of Rzeczpospolita reports that the remains of two other people have been found in the coffin of Polish President Lech Kaczynski.

At the same time the Deputy Attorney General said that he considers it right to reduce the volume of information issued on the exhumation of the bodies of the deceased to a minimum.

"Each time, the actions of prosecutors are discussed with family members [of the dead] negotiations become difficult, which is absolutely understandable," said Deputy Attorney General Marek Pasionek.
He noted that he did not receive any reports of unprofessional actions or inadmissibility of actions by Attorney General's Office employees.

According to the Deputy Attorney General, the investigation does not have expert opinions on the results of the autopsy. He said that the first autopsy results would be published in June.

Pasionek also noted that the Attorney General’s Office would like experts to issue a "comprehensive opinion" on the causes of the death of passengers of the plane. The final results of the autopsy will be published in April 2018.

This is not the first such incident. Earlier, fragments of bodies of several people were also found in the coffins of Generals Bronisław Kwiatkowski and Włodzimierz Potasiński, as well as that of Alexandra Natalli-Świat, a member of the Sejm.

The crash of the Tu-154 plane occurred on the 10th of April 2010 in Smolensk. As result, 96 people were killed. These included former Polish President Lech Kaczyński and his wife, the leaders of all the armed forces, the Chief of General Staff, representatives of the Sejm and Senate and the Office of the President, the last president of Poland who was in exile, Ryszard Kaczorowski, representatives of the high military command, political parties as well as public and religious figures.
