Georgian Prime Minister met with security forces due to situation in Nagorno-Karabakh

Due to the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, met with the head of the Foreign Ministry, security ministers, heads of the relevant bodies and committee chairpersons of Georgia, Ekho Kavkaza reported.

According to the press service of the Georgian Prime Minister, representatives of the security forces provided Kvirikashvili with all necessary information regarding the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, as reported by Georgia Online.

“Georg Kvirikashvili expressed concern over the escalation of the situation and resumption of military operations which have led to civilian casualties. The Prime Minister expressed hope that the de-escalation of the situation will be possible with the efforts of the international community, and that it is important to ensure peace and stability in the whole region,” as stated by the Prime Minister’s administration.
