  • Russian and Syrian war planes hit areas of Damascus using incendiary bombs

    As a result of the airstrikes of  Russian and Syrian air forces on the areas of Damascus controlled by the Syrian opposition there are multiple deaths of civilians, reports Turkish Andalu news agency citing sources in the Syrian Civil Defense.

    The district of Harasta  in the north east of Damascus came under heavy bombardment by the Assad forces. Three people were reportedly killed and 20 wounded as a result of these airstrikes. The wounded have been transported to field hospitals.

  • Turkish Media: Russia carried out air strike on Aleppo using parachute bombs

    The Russian air force has used parachute bombs against the Syrian opposition in Aleppo as reported by the Turkish Andalu news agency. 11 people were reportedly killed including women and children, 25 others were wounded.

    A representative of the Syrian Civil defense, Said Ahmed, told Andalu that the western districts of Aleppo, Etarib, Darrat Izzah and Ibin, came under the bombardment.

    He pointed out that many building were hit by the bombs with 10 being completely destroyed.

    The Russian Ministry of Defense and the United States Department of Defense have discussed measures to improve the safety of Russian and American-led coalition air forces. The website of the Russian Foreign Ministry says that the negotiations were held via video-conference.

    Russia will reinforce its flotilla which is currently located near the shores of Syria with its newest frigate from the Black Sea Fleet, Admiral Grigorovich.
