Belgian airline drops Russian Sukhoi Superjets from its fleet
The Belgian air company Brussels Airlines expressed its disappointment with their Russian planes. The company leases SSJ-100 Sukhoi Superjets in a contract that expires on March 2019, but they are already replacing them with Canadian CRJ-900 Bombardier, reported the newspaper L’Echo.

President Vladimir Putin approved a proposal to allocate 85 billion rubles ($1.50 billion USD) to create a new version of the Sukhoi Superjet (SSJ100), reports Kommersant, referring to sources in both the aviation industry and the government and presidential administration.
According to sources, Putin approved letter MD-12748/18, sent on March 1 by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Industry and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the United Aircraft Corporation Denis Manturov.

Russia and Italy agreed on supply of Sukhoi Superjet planes to Europe
Russia and Italy have agreed to supply Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft to Europe, as the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) reported in a statement posted on its website.
In Rome, the head of the Rosaviatsiya, Aleksandr Neradko, and head the Italian Civil Aviation Authority (ENAC), Alessio Quaranta, signed the implementation timeline for a bilateral agreement on maintaining the airworthiness of the SSJ100 airliner.
