Reporters Without Borders: Mauritania and Zimbabwe rank above Russia in World Press Freedom Index
In this year’s annual World Press Freedom Index, Reporters Without Borders (RWB) published information revealing Russia to be in 148th place. Russia’s position in this rating has not changed for the third consecutive year. In total, the rating consists of 180 countries. Ukrainian Media Trade Union condemns blocking of news site in Crimea
The Independent Media Trade Union of Ukraine has condemned the blocking of the Krym.Realii website on the territory of Russia and the annexed Crimea. Russian-Crimean Prosecutor General wants to ban US-funded news site
The Prosecutor General of Russian-Crimea, Natalia Poklonskaya, stated in her comment to TASS that she is preparing to fully block Radio Free Europe's Krym.Realii project.
