Russia created nuclear missile defense shield

Russia has created a continuous radar field along the perimeter of the country to defend against nuclear attack, as stated by Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu, Interfax reports.

According to Shoygu, in 2016 three new Voronezh radar stations in Omsk, Barnaul and Yeniseysk were successfully tested. Three existing stations in Baranovichi, Murmansk and Pechora were also reworked.
