Taliban denies cooperation with Russia in fight against Islamic State
Al Jazeera reported that the Taliban denies allegations that it is cooperating with Russia in the fight against the so-called Islamic State.
“We can destroy the Islamic State without any help from anyone. We are having talks but not about the fight against the Islamic State. We want foreign forces out of our country, that is what we are talking about at the moment,” a Taliban representative stated.

Soldier Killed and Three Others Injured In Eastern Ukraine
A Ukrainian soldier was killed while three others were injured in the latest conflict in the Anti-Terrorist Operations zone. This was reported at a press briefing on Sunday by the representative of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine concerning the ATO, Colonel Alexander Motuzyanik.
Militants opened fire on positions of the ATO forces 66 times. Near Zaitsev in particular, weapons prohibited by the Minsk Agreement were used for shelling ATO positions, resulting in one civilian death.

9 Killed as Russian Aircraft Bomb Syrian School
The Russian Air Force carried out another raid on the Syrian city of Idlib. Nine people were killed, including children while 11 more were wounded. A representative of the civil defense forces of the area, Dzhardzhanaz Mahmoud Dagim, reported that the local school building was bombed.
