• Fighting continues in town of Marinka in eastern Ukraine

    Militants are preparing to capture the city of Marinka, which is located on the Western outskirts of the Donetsk region.  This was reported by the headquarters of the Anti-terrorist Operation (ATO) on the 18th of February.

    The leader of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Alexander Zakharchenko, said that a test batch of DPR passports has been published, as reported by Glavnoye.

  • Four Ukrainian prisoners of war released by pro-Russian separatists

    Pro-Russian separatists released four Ukrainian prisoners of war on Saturday, as stated by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Twitter.

    "Just now Irina Herashchenko reported that three more Ukrainian heroes were freed from captivity by the militants. Glory to Ukraine!”  the President wrote.
