Russia sent a letter of protest to Ukraine over the attack on the Rossotrudnichestvo building in Kyiv

The Russian Embassy sent a note of protest to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine because of the attack on Rossotrudnichestvo (Russian Center for Science and Culture) building in Kyiv and called on the authorities to bring the attackers to justice, reported  the Russian diplomatic mission in Ukraine.

"We urge the Ukrainian government to provide appropriate legal assessments of the actions of the radicals, to bring the instigators and participants of the attack to justice, and to take exhaustive and effective measures to prevent such actions in the future. The embassy sent a note of protest to the Ukrainian Ministry," the report said.

On Saturday, February 17, about 30 members from the nationalist organization S14 broke into the Rossotrudnichestvo building in Kyiv and destroyed the property. They also burned the Russian flag. According to the head of the center, Konstantin Vorobyov, the attackers inflicted considerable material damage to the building. The police did not detain any of the attackers.
