Russia and Ukraine terminate the agreement on mutual arms supplies
According to the statement of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs published on the official portal of legal information, Russia and Ukraine terminated their 1995 agreement on the procedure for the mutual supply of arms and military equipment.
In November 2017, the Ukrainian authorities unilaterally repudiated this agreement. According to the document, the states supplied armament and equipment in accordance with agreed standards and signed contracts. Such contracts, among other things, included lists of manufacturing enterprises and suppliers. The agreement also abolished the duty on import and export of goods. In 2014 Ukraine stopped exporting military and dual-purpose goods to Russia due to Russian aggression and the annexation of the Crimea.
In 2015, the Cabinet of Ministers terminated the inter-governmental agreement with the Russian Federation in the field of Military-Technical Cooperation (MTC) of 1993 and the agreement with the Russian government on production and scientific-technical cooperation of the defense industry's enterprises of 1993.
In 2017, the Cabinet of Ministers terminated its intergovernmental agreements with the Russian Federation on cooperation in the export of military products to third countries (established in 2003) and on the preservation of specialization of enterprises and organizations involved in the production of military products (established in 2000).
