Ukrainian Defense Industry to present samples of modern weapons

On Monday, 29 August, the state enterprise Ukroboronprom will present new samples of unmanned aerial vehicles, mortars, air missiles, sniper weapons and other equipment, according to a statement by the press service of the National Security and Defence Council.

"On 29 August, the Secretary of the NSDC of Ukraine, Oleksandr Turchynov, will participate in the presentation of sophisticated weapons and equipment in celebration of the fifth anniversary of the State enterprise, Ukroboronprom.” The President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Volodymyr Groysman, the Minister of Defense, Stepan Poltorak, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Viktor Muzhenko, were also invited to participate the event," the statement read.

It is also noted that a model of a multi-functional unmanned aerial complex, an unmanned tactical multiple purpose vehicle "Phantom", a new 60-mm mortar designed in compliance with NATO standards, R-27 air-to-air missiles, sniper rifles and other sophisticated equipment will be presented to the leadership of the State and army. The event will take place at the Kyiv armor plant.
