Ukraine and the European Union will sign 10 agreements at Association Council meeting
Ukraine and the European Union will sign 10 agreements at the meeting of the Association Council that will take place on the 19th of December.
“Of course, we will discuss prospects at the meeting. Approximately 10 agreements will be signed. These agreements will be aimed at the further implementation of reform processes in Ukraine. In particular, an agreement on the reform of public administration will be signed… Also, the signing of funding agreements regarding cross-border cooperation will be held during this meeting,” the Ambassador of Ukraine to the EU, Mykola Tochytskyi, stated in an interview with Radio Svoboda.
According to Tochytskyi, the signing of agreements regarding an increase in loans for higher education in Ukraine is also expected. “The parties will discuss and sign a number of documents regarding Ukraine – including one with the European Investment Bank on increasing loans to fund higher education in Ukraine,” Tochytskyi said.
The third meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council will be held in Brussels on the 19th of December. The Ukrainian delegation will be headed by the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine, Stepan Kubiv.
