The current Ukrainian government has not met the expectations of the people after the change of power in the country, said the aviator in an interview on Friday, June 10. "The Ukrainian people deserve a better government than this," said Savchenko.

Earlier, on June 7th, she spoke in favor of direct negotiations between Kiev and the self-proclaimed Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics to return the Donbas to Ukraine. She stated that it is necessary "to speak directly with the DPR and LPR, without any Minsk Agreements and without any third or fourth parties."
